This kayak tour begins at low tide as the waves go to one side of the Tombolo (better known as the Whale’s Tail) at the Ballena Marine National Park, which is one of the best spots for snorkeling in Costa Rica. You will paddle to this point for 30 to 45 minutes, depending on your experience. From your kayak you will enjoy a magnificent view of the mountains and the coastline of Costa Ballena and Uvita. As soon we arrive at the reefs, our guide will give provide instructions to start the snorkeling session that lasts about 40 - 60 minutes.
