This gorgeous, extremely private home boasts incredible 360 views of the Osa Peninsula, Cano Island, Tres Hermanas,  Isla Ballena and primary hardwood rainforest!  Watch amazing wildlife and hundreds of species of birds up close, right in your back yard.  Close to everything, and conveniently located between Uvita and Ojochal!  You are 15-20 minutes away from gorgeous beaches, waterfalls, shopping and restaurants.  Located 950' above the Pacific Ocean, this amazing, comfortable home has one of the best ocean views you will ever encounter.  You'll have a commanding view of 5 offshore islands.  Costa Ballena is world renowned for the ballenas (whales) that congregate offshore at certain times of year.  You'll find yourself spending all your time on the expansive 54' long ocean view deck, watching agouti, sleepy Howlers, chattering White Faced Monkeys swinging through the trees, coati and hundreds of species of birds such as hummingbirds, hawks, Toucans and Cusingas. This “organic contemporary” home is incredibly comfortable and serene, surrounded by extensive tropical flower gardens and landscaping, with banana, avocado, mango, papaya, orange, grapefruit, lime, lemon, and yucca trees.

Our closest home to the beach, Casita Uvita is just a 10 minute walk to the National Park Playa Ballena, famous "Whale'sTail", shops and restaurants!  Spend your days beachcombing, surfing and soaking in the sun, or take a kayak, dive/snorkel or whale/dolphin watching tour just down the road with one of our tour operators.  The great pool and patio area is accessible from the kitchen, and both downstairs queen-bed air-conditioned bedrooms.  The lower level bedrooms share a Jack-and-Jill full bathroom, and there is a new second full bathroom off the lower level hallway. Rinse off and refresh in the outdoor garden shower.  Upstairs there is a great loft with 2 queen beds, and the home sleeps 8 comfortably. Meander along the walking path through the private grounds beautifully landscaped with an incredible variety of exotic fragrant tropical flowers and mature trees.  Access this lovely home with a 2 wheel drive vehicle (no 4x4 is necessary), and park it under the shaded carport.   Nearby Uvita is just a short car or bike ride away, with plenty of restaurants, shops, grocery stores, banks and tourist activities available.  Gorgeous beaches dot the Ballena Coast...you can't go wrong with a vacation in the Southern Zone!!
